Dr. Geoff DePaula
Founder & Executive Director
Geoff began his journey in the healing arts in 1993. He received a Degree in Acupuncture in 2000 from The New England School of Acupuncture. He subsequently went on to complete 3 years of traditional Chinese herbal medicine training.
Geoff’s clinical experience has made him keenly aware that fundamental holistic lifestyle changes in his patients healing process leads to deep and lasting changes in their health, improved quality of life and the subsequent reduction in their health care costs.
He has worked collaboratively with many other medical and healing practitioners for his patients optimal care including: Medical Doctors, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Nutritionists, Herbalists, Naturopathic Doctors, Homeopathic practitioners, Massage Therapists, Functional Medicine practitioners, Physical & Occupational Therapists, Yoga Therapists, Mental Health practitioners, and many others.
His years of clinical experience, and deep appreciation for medicine that uses the “Best of Both Worlds” is in part, what inspired him to create a “new paradigm” of health care which is manifested in the IM Health and Integrative Medicine & Holistic Health Association businesses.
His vision is the complete transformation of health care in this country to an integrative medicine model of care. These businesses are designed to demonstrate that an integrative approach to health care is more cost-effective, and has superior health outcomes than the current conventional model of health care in the US alone. This will be accomplished in the real World, with real people, and real money, through the IM Health’s comprehensive data and analytics tracking platform.
He has complied a dynamic Leadership Team and Advisory Board, including practitioners of many integrative & holistic healing modalities. This “Mastermind” group includes many seasoned experts in the field of insurance such as former BCBS health insurance executives, pioneers in integrative medicine research, a Harvard business professor, attorneys, accountants, and numerous business specialists, to name a few. He has spent years diving deeply into the health care industry, to understand how it works, and what it needs to be “healed”, in order to achieve a truly sustainable health care system in the US.
