It is the culmination of extensive work by researchers, Doctors, statisticians and computer programers. Biological age measurement systems were largely unsuccessful in the past. They concentrated on physiological measurements, without incorporating biochemical changes, so many of the most important markers were not measured. The data was limited, as many of the packages operated with as little as 2000 patients’ and data were not pooled to enable thorough analysis. As a result, the scope and accuracy of the field were compromised. Efforts were made by a select group of visionary Doctors to collate this data into a more comprehensive range of biomarkers. Dr Ward Dean’s work, “Biological Ageing Measurement”, provided the bench mark for subsequent studies. Other prominent publications include “Physical Dimensions of Ageing” by Dr. Waneen Spiriduso, and the “Practical Handbook of Human Biologic Age Determination” by Dr. Arthur Balin. These ground-breaking publications drew on published clinical data from medical journals, proving that biomarkers can be used to estimate the specific, and perhaps even the overall, biological age of a patient. These works, coupled with advancements in technology, led a group of professionals to believe that, for the first time, it would be possible to develop a comprehensive biological age measurement system. After years of extensive research, a system that could be assimilated effectively into a normal clinical environment has been developed. The I-M Health system incorporates information from hundreds of thousands of patient studies, based on scientific knowledge from some of the best preventative and anti-ageing practitioners in the world I-M Health provides two categories of results;
